“I am the only reader who knows how this world ends.”
The Prophet: Omniscient Reader (2025) is a bold, action-fantasy epic where fiction collapses into reality. Adapted from the bestselling Korean web novel and webtoon Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, this high-stakes survival saga stars Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Min-ho, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and Chae Soo-bin. The result is a breathtaking journey through a world rewritten by fate, memory, and imagination.
A World Rewritten by a Story
Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop) is just another office worker. His only escape is the web novel Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World—a story he’s followed for years. But on the day the novel ends, reality begins to break. The world collapses into the exact apocalyptic scenario he once read, and monsters, disasters, and “scenarios” begin to unfold like chapters brought to life.

Dok-ja is the only person who knows what happens next.
One Reader. One Hero. One Shot at Survival.
Forced into a reluctant alliance, Dok-ja joins Yoo Joong-hyuk (Lee Min-ho), the novel’s protagonist—an emotionless warrior cursed to restart time after every failure. Together with fierce allies like Lee Ji-hye (Jisoo) and Jung Hee-won (Chae Soo-bin), they must fight their way through deadly trials, challenge gods, and uncover the truth behind who controls the story.

As realities blur and the rules of existence shift, the biggest question emerges: is Dok-ja the reader… or has he always been a part of the story?
Why This Film Stands Out

- Jisoo’s Breakout Role: From idol to fighter—her Lee Ji-hye brings raw power and heart to the battlefield.
- Twists Beyond the Page: A survival thriller wrapped in fantasy, philosophy, and fate.
