Ash Williams is transported back to medieval England after being caught in a time vortex. Initially mistaken for an enemy, he is captured by King Arthur’s men but soon proves himself by defeating a Deadite in combat.
Tasked with retrieving the Necronomicon to return home, Ash embarks on a journey to find the book. However, he carelessly recites the incantation incorrectly, unintentionally awakening the Army of Darkness, a legion of undead warriors.
As the undead army marches against King Arthur’s forces, Ash steps up to lead the defense. Using his modern knowledge and weapons, he fights alongside the medieval warriors in an epic battle, ultimately defeating the evil version of himself who commands the Deadites.
With the battle won, Ash uses the Necronomicon to return to his own time. Back at his job in an S-Mart store, he recounts his adventure. When a Deadite suddenly attacks, he swiftly takes it down, proving that his fight against evil is never truly over.
