U.S. Marshal Heck Thomas is assigned to track down the notorious Rufus Buck Gang, a ruthless group terrorizing Indian Territory. To succeed, he teams up with Paden Tolbert, a Native American detective with his own vendetta against the gang.
As they pursue Buck and his men, Thomas and Tolbert face obstacles from both the outlaws and fearful townspeople. Despite their differences, they learn to rely on each other in their dangerous mission.
The gang plans a brutal attack on a town, forcing Thomas and Tolbert to gather a small force for a last stand. They set a trap, knowing this could be their only chance to stop Buck.
In a fierce final battle, Thomas and Tolbert take down Buck, but not without great loss. Justice is served, but both men are forever changed by the fight and the price of their victory.
