Decades after their iconic 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament match, Johnny Lawrence is down on his luck, while Daniel LaRusso enjoys success. Seeking redemption, Johnny reopens the Cobra Kai dojo, attracting misfit students, including Miguel, whom he mentors in karate.

Daniel, troubled by Cobra Kai’s return, starts his own dojo, Miyagi-Do, to counter Johnny’s influence. The rivalry between the two dojos intensifies, impacting their students, including Johnny’s estranged son, Robby, who trains under Daniel.

As tensions rise, their students clash, leading to violent encounters and shocking consequences. Friendships are tested, alliances shift, and Johnny and Daniel struggle to control the chaos they’ve created.

New threats emerge, including the return of John Kreese, Cobra Kai’s ruthless former sensei, escalating the conflict. Johnny and Daniel must decide whether to keep fighting each other or unite to protect their students from greater dangers.
