It centers on an open murder contract: a 20 billion won bounty is placed on a notorious criminal, sparking a deadly scramble among those who aim to kill and those who struggle to stay alive.

Plot Overview

When Baek Joong-sik (Cho Jin-woong), a police officer, is unexpectedly assigned to protect the infamous Kim Guk-ho (Yoo Jae-myung), chaos ensues. Guk-ho has just been released from prison after 13 years, and the massive reward on his head attracts assassins, desperate citizens, and influential power players.

Lee Sang-bong (Kim Mu-yeol), Guk-ho’s lawyer, sees this case as a stepping stone for his career. Meanwhile, Ahn Myung-ja (Yum Jung-ah), the mayor of Hosan, manipulates the criminals to safeguard her political future. Seo Dong-ha (Sung Yoo-bin), Guk-ho’s son, faces overwhelming stigma tied to his father’s crimes. Enter Mr. Smile (Greg Hsu), a Taiwanese assassin who arrives in Korea determined to collect the bounty.
