Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) is a sweeping Western epic about revenge, greed, and the changing American frontier. A mysterious gunslinger known as Harmonica arrives in a dusty town, seeking vengeance against the ruthless outlaw Frank, who works for a powerful railroad tycoon.

Meanwhile, Jill McBain, a former prostitute from New Orleans, arrives to find her new husband and his family murdered. The land they owned is valuable because of its water supply, making her the target of Frank and the railroad.

Harmonica teams up with Cheyenne, a wanted outlaw, to protect Jill and confront Frank. As betrayals and shootouts unfold, Harmonica’s true motive for hunting Frank slowly comes to light.

In the final duel, Harmonica kills Frank, revealing a long-standing personal grudge. With the railroad’s expansion inevitable, Jill embraces her new role, while Harmonica and Cheyenne ride off, leaving the Old West behind.
